Café on the Green Closes its Doors
Owner's Facebook announcement says business shut its doors permanently Thursday at 4 p.m.
Well here is a bit of bad news to residents, visitors and Patch editors holding team meetings in Morristown, the Café on the Green is closing up shop permanently, according to an announcement on the businesses Facebook page.
“We have decided to move on,” said owner Jon McGloin in the social media announcement.
According to McGloin, the owners of the Committed Pig, a burger and pancake house based in Manasquan, are coming soon with “something really special.”

McGloin asked patrons to stop by for a small free gelato before closing time.
“I want to thank everyone who I now can call my friends for all the support and love through these amazing 18 months,” McGloin said. “Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart as well as my wife Vita and daughter Mila.”Find out what's happening in Morristownfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
