Greater Morristown YMCA Offering Pickleball Instruction Classes This June — Now Open to Non-Members

CEDAR KNOLLS, NJ — The Greater Morristown YMCA is inviting adults ages 18 and older to join its upcoming Pickleball Instruction Program this June, with classes now open to both YMCA members and non-members.
Pickleball continues to be one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, blending elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis into a fun and social game that is easy to learn for all skill levels.
The YMCA’s weekly instructional classes will run on Mondays from June 1 through June 29 at the YMCA Basketball Gym located at 79 Horsehill Road in Cedar Knolls.
Participants can choose from three skill levels:
• Beginner – 7 AM
• Advanced Beginner – 8 AM
• Emerging Intermediate – 9 AM
Classes will be led by PPR-certified instructor Johnnia, who has more than seven years of experience and an active background in leagues and tournaments.
Program fees are $100 for YMCA members and $125 for non-members. Space is limited to a minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 participants per class.
Paddles are provided, though court shoes are required.
Registration is required through the Greater Morristown YMCA’s online membership portal. Non-members should select the “Pickleball Non-Member Membership” type during registration.
