Morris Arts Unveils "An Evening of Pure Imagination ": A Multi-Sensory Midsummer Celebration on June 20th
MORRISTOWN, NJ —This summer, Morris Arts invites the community to experience a spectacular fusion of classical symphonies, electric blues, live painting, and fine art at Giralda reimagined . Taking place on Saturday, June 20th, this reimagined midsummer gathering transforms the traditional arts experience into an immersive event celebrated at every turn.
The festivities will be hosted at the beautiful Annunciation Center at Saint Elizabeth University, with indoor performances held in the state-of-the-art Dolan Performance Hall.
The extraordinary lineup for the evening includes:
Curated Art Exhibition & Silent Auction: The afternoon kicks off with a showcase featuring original works from some of New Jersey’s finest emerging and established artists. Guests will have the exclusive opportunity to bid on these unique pieces in a silent auction.
Dynamic Musical Showcases:Throughout the evening, attendees will enjoy intimate performances by classical guitarist George Attisano and the dynamic guitar duo Lenin Pazmiño and Carlos Chong. Bringing a change of pace to the stage, the electrifying band BLUES People will deliver their signature "New Sound of NYC/Northern NJ Blues."
The New Jersey Symphony: At 6:00 PM, the acclaimed New Jersey Symphony takes center stage to perform a crowd-pleasing, vibrant mix of classical favorites, Broadway show tunes, pop hits, and patriotic classics.
Live Performance Art by Serena Bocchino: In a breathtaking display of interdisciplinary collaboration, acclaimed contemporary artist Serena Bocchino will create a live painting in real time, translating the Symphony’s music into fluid motion and vibrant color right before the audience's eyes.
