Car Smashes Into Nail Salon In Morris County

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A car was driven into a Morris County nail salon this week, destroying the establishment, according to police.

On Tuesday, around 8 a.m., Rockaway firefighters were called to Abe's Bagels at 399 US 46 on reports that someone had driven into the deli. Upon arrival, authorities learned that the car had not driven into the bagel shop, but instead into a nail salon next door.

No injuries were reported in the crash.

Officials did not release the identity of the driver, and an investigation into what caused the crash is being conducted.

While the salon will be closed until further notice, construction officials confirmed that the rest of the businesses inside the strip mall will remain open.
