Caribbean Restaurant Making Pop-Up Return To Greater Morristown

Hibiscus Island Grill Restaurant, formerly in the Midtown Shopping Center, will open a pop-up in Morris Plains.

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — Hibiscus Island Grill Restaurant is coming back. The Caribbean restaurant, which formerly had a Morristown location, will open a pop-up.

The new pop-up returns Sept. 1 to 196B Speedwell Ave., Morris Plains — offering takeout, delivery and catering.

Hibiscus had been located in Morristown's Midtown Shopping Center, which office and retail development M Station is in the process of replacing. Many businesses pushed out of the shopping plaza have relocated within town, including Cluck-U, Macho Nacho and Midtown Wine Merchants.
