Celebrate 100 Years of the Vote With An All-Woman Performance of 1776: The Musical

MORRISTOWN, NJ –– On Friday, September 13th, in the beautiful Dolan Performance Hall at the College of St. Elizabeth, the Continental Congress will reconvene, but this time with a twist. To celebrate the hundredth anniversary of the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution, fought for by the women of the suffragette movement, Off Book Productions and the Morris County Democratic Women’s Caucus will stage an all-woman performance of 1776: The Musical.

After sold-out performances at the Hackensack Performing Arts Center, Off Book Production’s take on 1776 will come to Morristown, a town rich with Revolutionary history. The Morris County Democratic Women’s Caucus supports female Democratic candidates across Morris County. The event will feature a champagne reception at 7:00 pm followed by the 8:30 pm performance. Tickets are $76 for caucus members and $100 for non-members.
