Celebrate Spring With Free Italian Ice And Ice Cream
Dairy Queen and Rita's are ringing in the season with free giveaways.
MORRISTOWN, NJ— There's nothing better than enjoying a cold treat on a nice hot summer day. Today might not be that hot-- it'll only be 48 degrees in Morris County today-- but it's still a nice spring day to take advantage of free dessert, courtesy of Dairy Queen and Rita's.

Both summer favorites are handing out free treats to celebrate the start of spring. Rita's will give away a free small Italian ice to all customers. There are 104 Rita's in New Jersey, so you'll have plenty of locations to pick from.

Dairy Queen is handing out small vanilla cones, and they ask you make a donation to Children's Miracle Network. Last year's free cone day raised over $200,000 for the charity.
