Chick-Fil-A Opening Morris Plains Location
Hungry locals will have a bit of a wait before the new Chick-fil-A opens.
MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — Chick-fil-A, the popular chicken fast food restaurant, is opening a Morris Plains location early next year. It's the company's first Morris County location.
A spokesperson for the company confirmed to Patch that they're looking to open a restaurant in the early months of 2019. A more specific opening date has not been announced yet.
"We are always evaluating potential new locations in the hopes of serving existing and new customers great food with remarkable service. We are excited to confirm that we are coming to Morris Plains with a projected grand opening in first quarter 2019. We look forward to sharing additional details as the opening nears," Jackie Jags told Patch.

According to county planning board documents, the restaurant will be located in Briarcliff Commons, at the Littleton Road and Route 10 intersection. A 2017 application said they plan on building a drive-thru.
