Child Struck By Car While Riding Bike: Morris Plains Police
The 12-year-old was struck while riding her bike Wednesday morning.

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — A 12-year-old girl was hit by a car while riding her bike Wednesday morning, Morris Plains police said.
The girl was crossing Speedwell Avenue on her bike around 8:53 a.m. when she was hit, police said. A car turning off of Franklin Place onto Speedwell Ave south struck her.
After being treated for minor injuries, the girl was released to her mother, police said. The driver, who was not identified, was charged with failing to yield within a crosswalk.
