The Morris Choral Society (MCS), founded in 1973, is one of Northern New Jersey's oldest, most active, and well-loved not-for-profit arts organizations dedicated to enriching community life through the performance and presentation of high-quality classical choral discography from the last three centuries.
Michael Wittenburg, an accomplished musician and conductor, is only the organization's fourth Music Director in its long history. Wittenburg is involved with a variety of organizations and has been described as a "true virtuoso" by the great classical pianist Ruth Loredo.
This season, MCS's accompanist is pianist Jennifer Yang. She is an accomplished pianist and organist with degrees from Yonsei University in South Korea and Westminster Choir College in Princeton.
