Gov. Christie has made opioid and prescription drug abuse a priority during his final year in office.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Gov. Chris Christie will speak at an opiate abuse forum at Morristown Medical Center next week. Christie has made opioid and prescription drug abuse a priority during his final year in office.
The June 12 program will take place between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Doctors, pain management specialists and all other medical professionals are encouraged to attend.
The epidemic and ways to prevent and treat abuse will be discussed.
