College of Saint Elizabeth to Host Concert by Music Faculty
On March 29, 2019, the Music Faculty at the College of Saint Elizabeth in will present a concert entitled, Shall We Dance?

On Friday, March 29, 2019, the Music Faculty at the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ, will present a concert entitled, Shall We Dance?, which will take place at 7:00 pm in Dolan Performance Hall in Annunciation Center on campus at 2 Convent Road. The concert is free and open to the public. A reception to meet the performers will follow the concert. This concert is also part of the 2019 events for Morris County’s Art & Culture Collaborative, LatinX ConeXiónes.
The program will include: a Medieval dance, Trotto;Georges Bizet’s L’amour est un oiseau rebellefrom his opera, Carmen; Manuel de Falla’s Danza ritual del fuego composed for his ballet, El amor brujo; Alberto Ginastera’s Danzas Argentinas, Opus 2, No. 1, 2 and 3; Marius Dicpetris’s Thought Wisdom, an original composition performed by the composer, and more. An audience singalong will conclude the performance.
Prof. Alessandra Altieri (soprano), Dr. Frances Covalesky (piano), Dr. Marius Dicpetris (multi-instrumentalist), Dr. John Gavalchin (piano), Prof. Suji Kim (cello), Prof. John Kizzie (guitar), Prof. Kris Lamb (flute and recorder), Dr. Angelika Nair (mezzo-contralto), Prof. Diane Perry (violin), and Dr. Vincent Rufino (clarinet), will perform various solo and collaborative pieces. Join us as the College of Saint Elizabeth’s Music Faculty prepares to “dance” with music for the heart, mind and soul!
