Concert Postponed In Morris Township Due To Storm Warning

The scheduled performers, Jake Thistle and Band, have agreed to a new scheduled date of Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at 7 p.m. at Ginty Field.

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Morris Township Summer Concert Series at the Ginty Field Gazebo is postponed Tuesday due to the threat of strong thunderstorms in the area at concert time, officials said.

The scheduled performers, Jake Thistle and Band, have agreed to a new scheduled date of Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at 7:00 pm at Ginty Field.

Thistle, based in New Jersey, has been entertaining audiences for years with guitar-driven classics and originals. "Please join us Wednesday for an evening of great musical fun with a rising young artist from the Garden State," township officials said.

According to AccuWeather, thunderstorms are expected to begin around 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
