Concerts and Contra Dances Set For June
Enjoy live music and dancing this month at events hosted by The Folk Project
The Folk Project, New Jersey’s leading acoustic music and dance organization, announces the following events for June:
Minstrel Acoustic Concert: Toby Walker at The Minstrel, Morristown Unitarian Fellowship, 21 Normandy Heights Rd., Morristown, on Friday, June 1 at 7:30 pm. Quentin Callewaert opens. Swingin’ Tern Contra Dance: Ridge Kennedy will call the contras on Saturday, June 2 from 8 to 11 pm at The First Presbyterian Church Parish House, 14 Hanover Road, East Hanover. The band will be Smash the Windows. Beginners’ workshop at 7:30 pm. No partner necessary. Please carry in clean soft-soled shoes for dancing. Adults $12; students $5.
