Cooling Center To Open In Morristown Amid Rising Temperatures

As temperatures climb into the mid to upper 90s, Morristown will open a cooling center on Tuesday, which will be open until Friday.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — With temperatures expected to reach the mid to upper 90s, the Town of Morristown will open a Cooling Center on Tuesday until Friday, July 22 for all residents to cool off.

The Cooling Center, located at Town Hall, 200 South Street, will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Tuesday, July 19 to Friday, July 22, according to township officials.

Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-90s this week, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will be 90 degrees on Tuesday with mostly sunny skies, 93 degrees on Wednesday, 94 degrees on Thursday and 92 degrees on Friday, according to the forecast.
