Crash Causing Significant Delays In Morristown

MORRISTOWN, NJ — A crash on the local roads near Route 287 is causing significant delays in Morristown, police said.

The crash is on Madison Avenue at Rt. 287, police said. There are delays on the local roads, but do not appear to be delays on the highway.

Drivers should plan an alternate route if possible, or prepare for longer travel times, police said. Emergency crews are on the scene, police said, and the road will be reopened "as soon as possible," but drivers should expect residual delays.
