Minor Injuries Reported In Morris County Crash On I-80 (Update)

Two vehicles were involved in Tuesday's 1-80 eastbound crash, which closed one lane, according to state police.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A car crash that involved two vehicles on Interstate 80 that closed one of the right lanes near Exit 28 on Tuesday morning resulted in only minor injuries, officials said Tuesday.

The state's traffic monitoring alert system detailed that the crash occurred at 8:48 a.m. on I-80 westbound in Roxbury.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a tractor-trailer and a Honda were involved in a collision, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry said.

The driver of the Honda was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, police said.

As a result of the crash, one of the three lanes of I-80's right lane was closed, causing minor traffic delays in the area.
