MORRISTOWN, NJ — Autumn is in full swing, and curbside leaf pickup collection in Morristown is underway. Here's what to know in order to ensure your piles get collected.

The town will collect leaves through Dec. 2. Leaves should get raked to the curb, and they cannot be placed in bags. The following cannot get mixed in with leaves: brush, rocks, dirt, tree limbs, grass, twigs or hedge clippings.

The Public Works Department collects the leaves with leaf vacuums attached to dump trucks.

Here's the general pickup schedule:

  • Monday: Ward 1
  • Tuesday: Ward 2
  • Wednesday: Ward 3
  • Thursday: Ward 4
  • Friday: town-wide for any areas not completed
