Morristown High School star shot putter Nick Vena became the first male athlete in New Jersey track and field history to win four Meet of Champions titles in a row Saturday, DailyRecord.com reports.
Vena fell short of the throw of the 70-foot-plus throw some were expecting, with 67-2, as he suffered through a bad back, according to DailyRecord.com.Ā
On Feb. 8 the Morristown senior signed his intent to attend the University of Virginia at Charlottesville this fall.Ā
