Dog Lovers Invited to Morristown "Doggy Dash" to Support Seeing Eye Dogs

All proceeds from the event will go to The Seeing Eye — which breeds, raises and trains Seeing Eye dogs.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Dog lovers and their pups are invited to an afternoon full of fun at The Seeing Eye's annual "Doggy Dash" this weekend. Attendees can participate in a one-mile fundraising walk, a dog pageant, and more to support the mission of The Seeing Eye to breed, raise and train Seeing Eye dogs this Sunday in Lidgerwood Park.

Registration and pre-registration check-in will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday. The fee for an adult walker is $35, kids ages 5 to 12 are #25, and ages 4 and younger can walk for free.

The one-mile doggy dash begins at noon. Following the dash, dogs and their owners can participate in a dog pageant with prizes for best-costumed dog, best-costumed dog and owner, best trick, most obedient, and more.

Attendees and their dogs can also enjoy activities like a caricature artist for dogs and a Seeing Eye puppy training demonstration. Food trucks and ice cream will also be offered.
