Dog-Themed Ice Cream Shop Opening In Morristown
Named after the owner's dog, the ice cream shop promises late nights with delicious treats.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — A dog themed-- and dog friendly!-- ice cream parlor will have its grand opening in Morristown Thursday, May 11.
Beenie's Ice Cream will serve a variety of deserts, including ice cream, gelato, sorbet, Italian ice and more. Named after the owner's dog, the shop will have dog-themed decorations and water bowls outside for pups to take a drink from.
It will open its doors for the first time Thursday at 8 p.m. Some of the flavors include Cinnamon Toast Crunch, s'mores, roasted banana, and midnight snack. Like more traditional ice cream? They have vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream and more.

"Honestly, we're just trying to make really awesome frozen desserts, and be a place that people can hang out at just because," Tony Franco, the owner, wrote on the shop's website.
Located at 38 Morris Street, the shop is less than a block from the Green. It will be open 7 days a week from noon to midnight (some holidays will have modified hours).
