Emergency Road Work To Close Down Washington Street In Morristown

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown motorists can expect road closures tonight as water main repairs will close a section of Washington Street beginning at 6 p.m., police said.

Police have advised all drivers to avoid westbound Washington Street after 6 p.m. until the repair work is complete, which is currently expected to take eight hours.

Detours will be in place near Atno Avenue until the area of 79 Washington Street, police said.

The road work will be assisted and facilitated by the Morristown Police.
