For ten weeks over the summer of 2010, Morris County resident Bill Ruddick rode his bicycle 5,300 miles across Canada. Ruddick will present some of his best photos and videos taken along the way and will provide an animated first-hand account of the experience. During his trek he rode through every province in Canada and managed a brief stop along the way into the coldest city in the United States: International Falls, Minnesota.
This event is for those who love to bike, for those with dormant (but determined-to-be-ridden) bikes sitting in the garage, or for those who just want to relive the tale of an interesting adventure. Spectacular views of the west coast, the Rockies, the flat-as-glass prairies, the Great Lakes, right through to the rugged Acadian coast along Cape Breton Island, certainly will inspire awe. Please join us for a fun travelogue. Bikers who ride one mile a year, ride 1,000 miles a year, or who don’t ride at all—but enjoy travel and adventure—will be sure to enjoy this special event.
