Founded in January 2010, The Jerzey Derby Brigade (JDB) has one team under its name, The Corporal Punishers; However, as the league is rapidly growing with over 40 members, a second team, The Major Pains, is anticipated but will not be ready to "roll" until 2011. Skaters in the JDB are mothers, daughters, teachers, lawyers, nurses, and professionals by day, but with names like Doom Hilda, Lawless Lizzie, Raven Rage, Miss USA Hole, and Pixie Bust, they assume new identities as they dominate on the track.
The JDB is a skater owned and operated organization. We are currently recruiting female skaters (ages 18 and older) of all abilities. We are especially seeking male or female referees, support staff, and volunteers! For more information regarding press passes, recruitment, or sponsorship opportunities, please contact league president, Doom Hilda at info@jerzeyderby.com.
