F45 Fitness Center Coming To Greater Morristown This Fall

The most recent new tenant in the shopping center is a franchise training center that offers functional group training classes.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Locals will soon have a new way to exercise when F45 Training opens in Morris Plains later this fall.

The new training facility, which will be located at 1767 NJ-10 East in Morris Plains, is expected to be open sometime in October, according to F45 Morris Plains’ owner, Lenny Rodriguez.

The fitness company was launched in 2012 and has been rapidly expanding internationally since then. The training centers offer group fitness training, with functional and circuit-style equipment and have been backed by celebrities such as Mark Wahlberg and David Beckham.

"Together with my investors, we are excited to be working with F45 Training," Wahlberg said in a press release. "The founders of F45 Training have done an incredible job building a global brand, and with this partnership, we hope to continue disrupting the fitness industry."

Although the franchise has other locations throughout Morris County and across New Jersey, this is the first in Morris Plains.

"In Paramus, our team has been able to not only help hundreds of members get in the best shape of their lives, but also rally together with our members in our new shared community to make an impact on local causes we care about having raised over $10,000 for a local hospital, an animal rescue nonprofit, and families of children with Autism," Rodriguez said.

The workouts are 45 minutes long, allowing customers to get an effective functional workout that delivers results without spending hours in a gym with little results.

"Whether you are an athlete, someone just coming back from an extended pause in their fitness routine, or a beginner, you will train as a part of a team working together towards a shared common goal to be healthier, stronger and happier," Rodriguez said.

Members will participate in cardiovascular, strength, and interval training exercises such as rowing, push-ups and weight-based exercises during the classes.

"Morris Plains is the perfect place for our expansion because of its incredible growth these last few years. The growth has brought in many new families, working professionals and retirees that all need a place that can make it easier for them to get the results they need to be the best version of themselves," Rodriguez said.

Until the grand opening, which is planned for October, a select number of foundation memberships will be available at a discounted rate for the new gym in Morris Plains, according to Rodriguez.
