Local Harley-Davidson Dealer Opens Showroom to Famous Local Artist

Morris Plains, NJ, February 24, 2016– Garden State Harley- Davidson is opening up its showroom to Greg Hildebrandt of the Brothers Hildebrandt for a full gallery event and the opportunity to meet Greg Hildebrandt himself Saturday, February 27th, 2016 from 10am-5:30pm.
Internationally known for the original Star Wars movie poster and the early J.R.R.Tolkien Lord of the Rings calendars in the 1970’s, Greg has also painted in the genres of fantasy, science fiction, comic art, pinup art, and children’s book illustration. Hildebrandt has worked for clients such as the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Franklin Mint, Wizards of the Coast, Bat Films and Lucas Films. In 1999, Greg also began a series of 1940’s-1950’s pin up paintings, which he has titled ‘American Beauties’.
Greg will be featuring for sale many of his works from American Beauties Pin-Ups to Comic Art. Greg will also be onsite finishing his latest painting. Anyone that attends the gallery event at Garden State Harley-Davidson can enter—FOR FREE—to win a 1993 15th Anniversary Style printing of the “Star Wars: A New Hope” movie poster, which was originally released in 1977 featuring art by the Brothers Hildebrandt. Few of these were signed by both Greg and Tim Hildebrandt. Tim Hildebrandt passed away in 2006. This is one of the last remaining lithographs signed by both Greg and Tim that is new and not previously owned. The value of this piece is $500.
