First Outdoor Dining Patio On Morristown Green Open For Summer
Dining at 1776 by David Burke just got even better. The new patio is now open for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — As the weather warms up in New Jersey, Chef David Burke will open the patio of his restaurant, 1776, becoming the first Morristown establishment to offer outdoor dining next to the historic Green.
Because Memorial Day is often regarded as the unofficial start of summer, diners can now enjoy the outdoor patio for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch.
1776 by David Burke, located at 67 East Park Place, was named one of the Top 20 Steakhouses in New Jersey by NJ Monthly in 2022 and is known for its custom European-style, comfortable lounges, romantic outdoor seating and historic water fountain.

The restaurant also has a comfortable living room area where patrons can hit golf balls using elite Topgolf full-swing technology and participate in a variety of simulated sports such as baseball, hockey, soccer and others.
1776 Patio on the Green features a collection of red, white, sparkling wines and champagnes, artisan cocktails, craft beers — both draft and cans/bottles — and a tailor-made menu filled with a variety of innovative dishes all perfect for al fresco dining.
