Flooding Closes Morris Plains, Township Roads

Breaking: Plan another route.

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — Flooding has closed multiple Morris Plains and Morris Township roads Monday morning.

There is heavy flooding at the Speedwell Ave train underpass as of 9 a.m., Morris Plains police said. Drivers should take an alternate route.

Dwyer Lane between Woodland Ave and Fanok Road was closed around 9:13 a.m. due to flooding.

Harter Road between Rt. 287 and Darnay Road is closed as of 10:16 a.m in Morris Township. Walsh Valley Road, Ranney Hill to Gaston Roads, and Whitehead Road and doe Hill to Washington Valley Road are closed. as of 10:58 a.m.

Heavy rains are causing flooding and power outages statewide.
