Got the munchies? Treat your taste buds and explore these late night eateries in Morristown, New Jersey.

With a strip of notable bars such as Iron Bar, Grasshopper on the Green, and Laundromat, Morristown is a HUB for college students and young professionals to enjoy a night out on weekends. These patrons have multiple options to choose from when considering which bar to go to, but in many cases, people struggle when deciding on which late night eateries they can go for a late night snack. Morristown offers their late night companions a wide variety of dining options that are no more than 5 minutes walking distance from the drinking venues. Here are a few options to consider on your next trip to Mo-Town.
Raul’s Empanadas
Located at 63 Morris Street in Morristown, NJ, Raul’s Empanadas offers Mexican food and has signature $3 empanadas. The empanadas vary in selection such as meat, vegetarian and even dessert dishes. The location has a fast food restaurant type of structure that people enjoy when patience is running thin at the end of the night. Their location is open until 2:30a.m Friday and Saturday nights. Unlike the other options that will be discussed, Raul’s Empanadas does not operate late on aThursday. Overall, customers have rated Raul’s 4 out of 5 stars and the restaurant has gained positive feedback since its opening.
Famished Frog
Considered one of Morristown’s premier locations to watch sporting events, Famished Frog also has a dining menu that customers enjoy. Located just outside of the Morristown green at 18 Washington Street, Famished Frog is a 5-minute walk from any bar location in town. This location offers NJ Blue Point Oysters, Blackened Monk Fish Tacos, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, and best of all, free popcorn. Although most of the options on the menu seem enticing, the prices are considered to be more on the high end in comparison to other restaurants in the area. Famished Frog is one of the few locations on this list that also offers alcoholic beverages in their venue, making it a one-stop location for the entire night. With a rating of 3.5 stars, Famished Frog deserves a chance to be on your list of next “late night dining locations”.
Fattys
Located at 46 Morris Street, Fatty’s is a major hotspot for most late night patrons. Being neighbors with a well-known bar, Grasshopper on the Green, Fatty’s is able to capture a high influx of people. Unfortunately for the customer, this means that you will most likely encounter a line and a wait time of approximately 20 minutes. If one is willing to test their patience, they will not be disappointed with the wide selection of cheesesteaks. For instance, Fatty’s offers cheesesteaks such as the “Fat Dougy” and “Fat Cat”, which contains bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, mozzarella sticks, and French fries. The best part about the Fatty’s deal is that all these options cost no more than $10. Fatty’s has a rating of 3 out of 5, with the only complaint being relevant to the waiting time.
Grilled Cheese at the Melt Factory
Abutting to Fatty’s, Grilled Cheese at the Melt Factory is another location that many people wonder into around the hours of 1:00 am and 2:00 am. Grilled Cheese is located at 28 Morris Street, and operates as late as 3:00 am. They offer grilled cheese with a variety of meats and other fillings to cater to a constantly expanding customer base. The wait time to get food in this establishment is similar to that of Fattys, but the structural set up of the interior gives it a welcoming look. The pricing varies with an Original sandwich being $5.95 to customized sandwiches costing $7.95. The portion size and the free bag of chips make it a "no-brainer." The Grilled Cheese Factory has earned itself a 4 out of 5, due to its wide selection and low prices.
