The Forever Question

Why do we have kids? Mike is a loving father, happy with his marriage, his two-year old son and his life in general. But as his wife Carolyn mentions casually that she thinks it’s time they have a second, he begins asking this question. He likes the idea of a playmate for his son, and he wants to make his wife happy. But still: why? The question takes Mike and Carolyn back to childhood, the mysteries and awkwardness of puberty and dating, and the loss of his father. Part of the NJTA STAGES FESTIVAL
