Free COVID Vaccine Clinic At Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival

The Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available at Saturday's festival on the Green.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Saturday's Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival will bring excitement to the Green like it hasn't seen since the pandemic began. But the coronavirus remains a reality.

The town partnered with Atlantic Health System to sponsor a free vaccination clinic at the festival. Patients can choose between the Pfizer (12 and older) or the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine (18 and older).

The clinic will take place from 12-4 p.m. Saturday at the Green at West Park Place. Walkups are welcomed, but you can preregister by calling the number below.

The Jazz & Blues Festival returns after last year's cancelation. Festival organizers encourage attendees to observe public-health guidelines, wear masks and get vaccinated.

Seventy-five percent of Morristown adults and 66 percent of the town's population are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Tuesday morning, according to the New Jersey Department of Health.

Officials reported 30 new cases in Morristown since Sept. 1, bringing the town to 2,327 cases since the pandemic began.
