GoFundMe Supports Kids Of Morristown Official Who Died Suddenly
For Michael Fabrizio, 'there was not a day that went by that he didn't celebrate the accomplishments of his children.'
MORRISTOWN, NJ — Michael Fabrizio celebrated his children's accomplishments every day. As Morristown's longtime director for the Parking Authority and nonprofit partnership, anyone could tell how much he loved his triplets.
Fabrizio, 55, died suddenly June 15. Now the public can help the family of the man Mayor Tim Dougherty called "Mr. Morristown." Read more: 'Mr. Morristown': Michael Fabrizio Mourned In Tear-Filled Meeting

"Always a proud father, there was not a day that went by that he didn’t celebrate the accomplishments of his children," Wehring wrote. "Without fail he made sure that each of their unique needs were met and dreams explored. They are his greatest accomplishment."
Fabrizio has been remembered not only as one of the architects for Morristown's modern revitalization, but also for his kindness and generosity.

"Without hesitation, and always quietly and without fanfare, Michael supported others both personally and professionally throughout his lifetime," she said in the GoFundMe.
The fundraiser ensures that Fabrizio's children can continue their educations — their father's greatest wish for them. Lisa Fabrizio — Michael's wife of 28 years — will be the custodian of all funds, which support tuition and related educational costs.
Some who knew Fabrizio also used the GoFundMe to leave kind words.
"Michael was a friend and colleague of mine for 20+ years," said Nancy Adams. "We worked together on the Board of Downtown New Jersey and collaborated on some consulting projects. He was fun, smart, and giving of his experience and ideas. He will be missed by many, myself included."
