Grand Cafe In Morristown Honored For 40 Years Of Service
Mayor Tim Dougherty issued a proclamation for the longstanding restaurant at Tuesday's Town Council meeting.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — The Grand Cafe has received several honors during its lengthy standing in Morristown, but none quite like this. The restaurant earned a town proclamation Tuesday for its 40th anniversary.
Mayor Tim Dougherty issued the proclamation at Tuesday's Town Council meeting, and the town has since given the document to the restaurant.
The Grand Cafe (42 Washington St.) sits right off the Morristown Green. The restaurant offers French and American cuisine, along with a vast wine list.

The establishment has earned several accolades, including The American Academy of Hospitality Science's 5 Star Star Diamond Award from 1994-2004, the 2004 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence and special recognition from Morris Gourmet in 2006.
