The Grapeful Palate Closing For Good In Morristown

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown wine shop The Grapeful Palate is closing its doors for good before the end of the month, they announced on Facebook.

"We are excited to announce that we will be moving on to our next venture and will be closing our doors for good in mid-to-late June," the store said. They did not mention what that next venture would be.

Gift cards are still being accepted, although shoppers are encouraged to use them as soon as possible. Everything will be on sale until closing time. Until the store closes, the hours will be Tuesday through Saturday, 2 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

"You guys have welcomed us with open arms since day one and we are grateful for this and for the time we've had here. Thank you," the store said.

Locals lamented the loss in the comments section, wishing the owners the best.

"Wow really sad to see you closing, best pinot noir selection, great recommendations, am really sad to see you closing," one shopper wrote.

"Happy for you, very sad for me. We will miss you," added another.
