Group Home Garners Neighbors’ Ire After Outbursts, Vandalism
Police are working with nonprofit's management team to fix problems, report says.
Residents living near a group home on Headley Road aren’t happy with the way the facility is being run after a number of incidents have caused concern.
According to morristowngreen.com, residents spoke out at a recent Morristown Council meeting about frequent visits by police, fire vehicles and ambulances to the group home. The residents also mentioned violent outbursts, vandalism and unsupervised youths, the report said.
The group home is run by the nonprofit Devereux facility and houses young adults with mental health issues, the report said.
