Hearing Beyond the Ear..Auditory Processing January 9, 2016 10:30AM-12:30PM Summit Speech School, 705 Central Ave., New Providence, NJ

What we commonly call “hearing” truly includes “listening,” that is, receiving and processing auditory information in order to communicate with others. Since listening involves many steps—from detecting a sound, to labeling it, to understanding it—breakdowns can occur at any place within the listening process.

Come listen to audiologists Craig Barth and Karen Kushla discuss how breakdowns occur in this process of listening and strategies to use to be able to listen better.

The date is Saturday, January 9th, 2016 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The location is at the Summit Speech School, 705 Central Avenue in New Providence, NJ.
