'Held Against Will' Call In Morristown Deemed Mental Health Crisis: Cops
A 9-1-1 call concerning someone being held against their will prompted a multi-agency response.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — A police response over the weekend in Morristown ended with a woman in the hospital, according to safety officials.
On Friday, around 9 p.m., Morristown police were called to DeKalb Place after a 9-1-1 caller said that someone was being held against their will.
Several first responding entities arrived at the scene, including Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, Morris County Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team, and the Morristown Fire Department.

First responders discovered that nobody was in danger, and a woman was having what officials deemed a “mental health crisis.”
Nobody was injured during the incident, and the woman was taken to the Morristown Medical Center for evaluation, officials said.
