Here Are The Best Holiday Gas Prices In Morris County

With gas prices up this year compared to last year, every cent counts.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ— Have a long trip over the river and through the woods to Grandma's house?

With gas prices up nearly 50 cents over last year, that annual drive could be more expensive than usual, and drivers are looking out for the best deals possible. And New Jersey, known for its cheap prices, is above even the national average.

Nationally, gas is averaging $2.27 a gallon, but in Morris County, the average gallon is going to cost you $2.51. Some of this increase can be attributed to the 23 cent gas tax hike, which went into effect Nov. 1.
