MORRISTOWN, NJ — It's not clear what path the coronavirus may take in the colder months. But here's what we've seen in Greater Morristown.

Morris County averaged 72.8 infections per day in the past week, according to the New Jersey Department of Health. That's an increase in new cases compared to this time a month ago, when the county averaged 59 new daily cases this week in October.

Here's how much cases have spread in the area:

  • Morristown saw 22 new cases from Nov. 5 to Tuesday, bringing the town to 2,458 cases since the pandemic began. That a 0.9 percent increase in cases in the past 11 days.
  • Morris Township had 24 infections from Nov. 5 to Tuesday, totaling 1,848 cases since the pandemic began — a 1.32 percent increase to its total cases in 11 days.
  • Morris Plains's cases went from 638 to 655 in that span — a 2.66 percent increase in 11 days.

  • Morristown Medical Center: 20.12 percent of ICU beds available
  • Saint Clare's Denville Hospital: 69.23 percent of ICU beds available
  • Kindred Hospital New Jersey - Morris County (Dover): ICU bed data unavailable
  • Overlook Medical Center (Summit): 49.25 percent of ICU beds available
  • Saint Barnabas Medical Center (Livingston): 46.05 percent of ICU beds available
