How Much Is COVID Spreading In Morris Co.: Town-By-Town Glance
NJ's metrics are sliding in the 'wrong direction,' according to Gov. Phil Murphy. Here's the count of new cases in each Morris County town.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ ā New Jersey's COVID-19 metrics are heading in the "wrong direction," according to Gov. Phil Murphy. The New Jersey Department of Health reported 1,017 new cases Friday. When July began, the state tallied only about 150-300 new infections each day.
Morris County ended June with only single-digit new cases per day but averaged 32 new daily cases from Monday to Thursday.
Here's a look at how much cases have increased in each Morris County town. Data reflects July 20 to Thursday. Some towns have a decrease in cases, which county officials say can be attested to further investigation finding a different address for a case than the one originally entered.
