Indoor Golf Simulator Opens In Morristown

The new facility focuses on both the physical and mental aspects of the game.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — While it's not quite golf weather, enthusiasts and newcomers alike can still work to chip away at their stroke count in a new Morristown facility.

Morristown Indoor Golf Club, located at 48 Bank Street, is set for its grand opening on Jan. 29. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. that day to welcome Morristown’s newest business.

The establishment has indoor golf simulators in which a player hits a golf ball into a screen, and the display shows an incredibly accurate depiction of what would happen on the links in real life. The simulator emulates weather, terrain, and more real-life factors one would run into on a golf course.

The facility also focuses on the mental side of the game, offering sessions with Dr. Michael Klein, a clinical psychologist who founded Kharakter Sport Psychology.

ā€œDoc's coaching philosophy is built around three core pillars of golf performance: mental skills, golf knowledge, and identity (including confidence),ā€ his bio reads. ā€œBy working closely with athletes to evaluate their current performance goals, Doc crafts custom plans designed to foster consistency, boost confidence, build mental resilience, and enhance performance under pressure.ā€
