"The Irish and the American Presidency" Lecture and Book Signing this Wednesday, 1/25 at the Morris County Historical Society

Dr. Nicole Yanoso, Asst. Professor of History, shares how the Irish became a potent force in American presidential politics at the MCHS.

Take this opportunity to join Dr. Nicole Yanoso, Assistant Professor of History at the College of Saint Elizabeth, on Wednesday, January 25 at 2 p.m. as she presents her new book The Irish and the American Presidency, and leads a guided tour at Acorn Hall of the Morris County Historical Society’s exhibit Race to the Finish: Newspaper Coverage of Presidential Elections, 1789-2008. According to Dr. Yanoso, The Irish and the American Presidency showcases the Irish as a potent force in American presidential politics, while also providing a unique and comprehensive perspective on American presidential history. Dr. Yanoso received her BA from the College of Saint Elizabeth, her MA from East Stroudsburg University, and her PhD from Drew University.

Following Dr. Yanoso’s presentation, The Irish and the American Presidency will be available for purchase and signing. There is still space available to participate in this event; please purchase tickets in advance. The cost is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, $7 for students, and Free for MCHS members.
