Korean War Veteran, Great Grandfather, Morristown Man Dies at 84

Vincent Danesi, Jr. lived in Morristown for half a century.

Vincent Danesi, Jr. spent 50 years of his life living in Morristown.

The Boonton native died recently, surrounded by family at age 84, according to his obituary.

Danesi graduated Boonton High School in 1945 before going on to Rutgers University. He then served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict before working for Knoll Furniture in Bridgewater.

He worked in the industry for 50 years before retiring as Executive Vice President. Danesi was an avid golfer and reader, and loved spending time with his family, including his two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Danesi is survived by his wife of 63 years, two children, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
