'Large' FDNY Funeral To Close Roads Saturday In Parsippany

Part of Parsippany Road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., police said.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A "large" Fire Department New York funeral service will cause road closures and detours Saturday in Parsippany, police said. The service will take place at the Par-Troy Funeral Home and cause closures from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Parsippany Road will be closed between Route 202/Littleton Road and Allentown Road during that time.

Parsippany police posted the following detours:

  • Parsippany Road traffic heading south: (L) onto Littleton Road. (R) onto Smith Road. (R) onto Jefferson Road. (R) onto Halsey Road. (R) onto Parsippany Road.
  • Parsippany Road traffic heading north: (L) onto Allentown Road. (R) onto Marmora Road which turns into Frontage Road. (R) onto Littleton Road/RT 202.
