Morristown, NJ - The Lone Eagle Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) will be hosting an open house on Wednesday, March 29th, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Morristown National Guard Armory, 430 Western Ave, Morristown, NJ.

The open house will feature displays highlighting CAP's role in Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs, and Emergency Services. Attendees will be able to meet with current CAP members to learn about the opportunities available within the organization and about their experiences.

"We are excited to host this open house and provide the community with the opportunity to learn more about the Civil Air Patrol and the important work we do" stated Capt. J. Peter Hinge, Commander. As part of the program, Cadets under age 18 are eligible for five free orientation flights in a powered CAP aircraft and five free flights in a glider aircraft..

The Lone Eagle Composite Squadron meets on Wednesdays, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Morristown National Guard Armory. Eligible youth can start the cadet leadership, aerospace education, and emergency services program at the age of twelve and adults can join as senior members starting at age 18.
