Update: All lanes on Madison Avenue reopened as of 12:27 p.m. Monday.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Expect delays at Madison Avenue, Morristown police said. Officials reduced the road to a single lane on each side from Interstate 287 to the Morristown Medical Center entrance.

Police posted the information on Nixle at 11:52 a.m. Monday but did not immediately release a reason for the lane reduction. Drivers should consider an alternate route.
