Masked Thieves Grab Designer Handbags In Daytime Robbery, NJ Boutique Owner Says
VIDEO: Multiple people stormed the designer handbag store and took several items.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — A Morristown boutique was robbed this weekend by masked thieves, according to the owner.
On Sunday around 3 p.m., five people in masks stormed C’est La Bella, a designer handbag shop on Community Place.
Footage shared from C’est La Bella shows the masked individuals storming the store and grabbing handfuls of pocketbooks. Customers can be seen fleeing the store as the robbery goes down.

The robbery took place as a limited-time "Vintage Designer Bag Flash Sale" was set to take place. Following the robbery, the sale was canceled.
"As many of you already know, we did get robbed today, and as such we will have to cancel Tuesday's sale. We will be closed for a little bit as we recoup and discuss next steps," a C’est La Bella post read. "Please keep us in your prayers as we recover and move past this."

Owner Chuck Spinella told the Morristown Green he suspects that roughly $40,000 of merchandise was stolen.
No arrests have been announced at this time.
"Please, anyone with information, please contact the police," a statement read.
