Meet A Jets Football Player In Hanover This Wednesday

He'll be bagging groceries at ShopRite to help raise money for local food banks.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Meet a Jets football player and help raise money for a good cause this Wednesday, as Muhammad (Mo) Wilkerson helps bag groceries at a local ShopRite for their "Help Bag Hunger" initiative.

Wilkerson, a New Jersey native and Pro Bowl Selection, will be at the Morristown ShopRite from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20 to help raise money for local food banks. Shoppers can have their groceries bagged by the defensive end during that time.

"With nearly 50 million Americans, including more than 16 million children, suffering from food insecurity,ShopRite is helping to raise awareness and inspire action within their local communities through its hunger-fighting initiative, ShopRite Partners In Caring, a year-round, community based program that provides funds to local food banks," the company said. "Since its inception in 1999, ShopRite Partners In Caring has donated $43 million to local food banks, supporting more than 2,100 charities that feed the hungry in communities served by ShopRite stores."
