Washington Twp

Washington Township (Morris) Will hold their annual Memorial Day Ceremony this Saturday, May 27. For details and more information click here.

Morris Plains

Morris Plains will be holding its 31st Annual Parade and Memorial Day service this Saturday, May 27. The parade, the largest in Morris County, consists of over 90 units representing local and county organizations with 13 bands. For details, click here.

Chester

Chester Borough will be holding its annual Memorial Day Commemoration and procession this Monday, May 29. Anyone who is currently serving or has served in the Armed Forces is welcome to march in the procession. For details, click here.

Parsippany

Parsippany is holding their first ever Memorial Day Ceremony in Lake Hiawatha to honor the two servicemen who lost their lives in Vietnam. For details, click here.

The Borough of Madison will be holding its annual Memorial Day Parade this Monday, May 29. For details, click here.

Mine Hill

Mine Hill Beach opens this weekend, starting with a FREE day on Saturday!
From noon to 7:00 p.m. beach passes will be free. On Sunday, May 28 the beach will be open noon to 7:00 p.m. On Memorial Day, the beach will be open from noon to 7:00 p.m. Starting May 30th on the beach will be open on a part time schedule:
4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday and Sundays
*Beach hours will change once school ends*

Hanover

In recognition of Memorial Day, Hanover Township will be hosting the annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday May 29, 2017 at 9:30 am. Please expect road closures on Whippany Road from Fairchild Place to Parsippany Road, Parsippany Road to Mount Pleasant Avenue and all of Mount Pleasant. All residents are invited to the parade and Memorial Day Service immediately following at the American Legion on Legion Place. Please be patient with the road closures and come help us honor our veterans.
