Missing Morris Co. Teens Sought By Police
Two Morris County teenagers were reported missing after last being seen on March 31, according to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. Police said Valentina Gomez, 15, and Valeria Yepez, 16, were last seen on March 31 in Morristown. Gomez is Hispanic and has black hair and brown eyes. She is 5'07 tall "and is 120 pounds. Yepez has brown hair and brown eyes and is Hispanic. She is 5'07 tall "and is 152 pounds.

Morristown Teen Recounts Grandmother's Holocaust Survival Story
A junior at Morristown High School was awarded the first-ever Outstanding Student Holocaust Education Award by the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community and Holocaust Memorial and Education Center in Somerset. Aron Goodman was sitting in his history class when he noticed that the Holocaust was only briefly discussed, with little discussion and even less interest from his classmates.

Morristown VA Increases Protocols As COVID Cases Rise
With COVID-19's presence rising again, stricter protocols, including social distancing, have been reinstated at all VA New Jersey Health Care System sites and clinics, including the Morristown location. Based on the CDC's Community Transmission levels — which are based on new COVID-19 cases and the percentage of positive tests — the Morristown clinic is adjusting its COVID-19 safety protocols.

One resident of Morristown was among those honored as part of the annual Russ Berrie Making a Difference Awards for 2022. Pavilion Gifted By Morristown Rotary Club Was Unveiled This Weekend
As a way to celebrate a century of service in the community the Morristown Rotary Club chose to gift the town a $90,000 pavilion at Lidgerwood Park. "This pavilion is one of the ways we are celebrating 100 years of service to the community as well as 100 years of continuing service into the future," chapter President Steve Ellerman said.
